Hello, I am an international student in Germany, I came in October and so far I have loved it. And starting from May 2, we had something in my uni called a "Praktikum"(internship) and for my first week we had something called "Informatics" and in that week we "learned" about HTML, all the teacher did was make us write down the html code she gave us and run it, but I usually did something more than what was asked, just getting creative with it you know, nothing wrong, she didn't like that and we went back and fourth and my tone was not that respectful but isn't that disrespectful, in between. But she decided to kick me out of class and she went to our administration and told them about it, I also went there and explained my point of view, they understood and then the next day I went to class and she forgave me, we talked for like 10 minutes and it was nice that she forgave me. next 3 weeks I didn't have her, I had other professors and nothing happened, all were amazing.

Then this week I had her for the final 4 days(30th May - 2nd June). On the 30th, nothing happened, I did all my work and I did it well, I was nice to her and all I did was listen. Next day, I do the exact same thing, listen and work, and today I did the same, but then she left the class for like 30 minutes and then came back and told me to leave and I am banned and not allowed back in, I asked why, she told me to leave. I went to the administration office and then they went and talked to her and came back to talk to me, they were scared because it's the first time this happens, they told me that she felt sexually harassed by me, I heard that I thought they were joking but they weren't, she felt that yesterday and today she felt sexually harassed by me and the administration told me there is a really high chance she goes to the police because of how hurt she feels. I didn't do a fucking thing which is why I am pissed off, I sometimes have my left hand on my crotch, nothing sexual and nothing to do with her at all. The administration told me that the best case scenario is to repeat another 2 weeks in September and pay 400 Euros, but worse case scenario is that she goes to the police and court. I understand that her feelings are important and if she felt harassed then we shouldn't ignore that, but I didn't do anything to her, I didn't intend it to be sexual or anything and I would gain nothing if I did, my last day ever with her is tomorrow so why throw it all away. It just doesn't compute me. I feel like filing a defamation case against her if she files any sort of case. I have exams starting from next week and I really don't wanna be bothered with any case, I don't wanna file defamation but if she does anything then I will, because I know she can't win the case, I didn't anything and I was in a class with like 20 people, everyone can see everything I did with her, I didn't try touching her or anything, I didn't even look at her, I just looked at my screen. What should I do?

Hello Reddit-Land, where opinions are held in high regard! I've posted here before and its been incredibly helpful, so I'm doing it again. For a little backstory, I went no contact with my parents three years ago after a series of drunk phone calls that always ended in me hanging up on my mother while she was insulting me, my family, my husband, our way of life, how we make a living, why I'm a bad mom, etc, you get the idea. I stopped answering her phone calls and emailed her with what she had said to me and asked her to call me so we could talk. She replied with "You are emotionally blackmailing me" and that was the beginning of the end of our relationship. She then enforced a smear campaign on me for the SECOND time in my life.
My husband and I have two daughters. After my mother treated me that way, we were both really so angry at her for not being an adult and talking to me about what she did. She wanted to pretend it never happened, including her smear campaign. After some back and forth via emails (and my father, her enabler, and her also spreading the smear campaign to FACEBOOK-which led to a young cousin emailing me and calling me a selfish Bword), we had enough and told them to either knock it off or talk to me. *crickets* My husband and I were ignored. So we accepted our ousting from the family and moved on with life. My daughters had wonderful milestones that we celebrated, I went back to college at age 37 and just finished my Spring semester with a 4.0 GPA AFTER being diagnosed with Dyscalculia last semester (imagine my young years at home trynna tell high functioning alcoholics that I was doing my best, but I really didn't understand no matter how hard I tried!). I feel like I'm happy and succeeding in life now and I attribute that to my Narcissist Mother not having an influence over me anymore. Here's where the advice part kicks in --- I am close to my grandma, my moms mom. Whenever I need love, or support, or honest truth, ANYTHING, - I call my Grandma (I'm the first grandchild and we have a special bond). My grandma loves my mom and I, and is sad about the situation. I recently asked my grandma about what to do and this is why I'm here.
My parents sent my children birthday presents this year in the mail. My husband and I are making changes in our lives and I'm attempting to get this degree so we can sell our home and move to a different area (where my fibromyalgia won't be so affected by high humidity and high windchill) of the country. Since my parents had opted to drop out and not do anything to remain in our kids lives, we kept it that way. Now my girls have gone 3 years without seeing their grandparents and rarely ask about them anymore. They did at first, which was hard, but it was during Covid so we used that as our excuse as to why we weren't seeing them. I've been holding on to the gifts for the girls because I'm at a point where I think its time to cut bait and leave a sunken ship.
3 years is a long time to not be family, it's a long time to ignore the hurt you forced on your own daughter, and it feels incredibly unrealistic and rude of them to think they can have a relationship with my children after all the disrespect, unkindness, and back stabbing. My grandma is so sad and wants to take my children to VISIT my parents but I also don't like that idea. My husband and I are against that idea. My grandma tells me that my mother misses her grandchildren and she's guilted me a few times about the situation but....I feel like when it comes to my parents, i don't care. I'm jaded.
Has anyone ever been in a situation like this before? What advice would you give to someone who doesn't know what to do but feels happy how things are??

Just got to Titan and want to use my resources wisely, what are some of the best weapons and enchantments for fighting this guy?

Every time Endless Voyage comes around, I inevitably see a few folks discussing their struggles with it. It is my favorite mode in the entire game, and I have successfully completed every round to date, including challenges, with minimal difficulty. So I thought that there might be those out there who could use a helpful guide for the general tips and tricks that, I feel, have made me successful to date.
-Do. Not. Use. Your. Resets.
This one is by far the most important. It doesn't matter if you don’t like who you have. The only time you should be using your resets is if you are stuck. Even if not using a reset causes you to violate every tip that follows, don’t use them until you absolutely HAVE to. You'd be shocked how far you can go on characters who are normally considered bad, or skills that run counter to everything else I’m about to say.
-Save your star upgrades
Especially your star syncs. Yes, Light of Genesis is busted, but few things feel worse than burning a sync on a character, and then getting nothing worth using for them. Once you have all 6 Heroes and some of their kits have started to fall into place, that’s when you should consider it, but you should never be doing this before you are at the floor 5 boss.
-Choose a black sheep
Once you have all 6 of your heroes, your goal should be to only build 5. If you decide you don't want to build up your last one however, and the game just keeps THROWING great loot at you, obviously adjust your strategy. But I’ve found that every time I finish a run, one of my characters is vastly under performing. Propping up that last character is a potential waste of resources so you should not aim to build all 6.
-Don’t skip Temples of Might or Stores. Ever.
Almost spit when I saw a comment from someone saying they had skipped a Temple of Might while lamenting they were struggling. This may go without saying for many of you, but in the off chance someone needed to hear it, now you have. Upgrade EVERYTHING as far as it will go. Generally in temples 1 and 2, I start with cost upgrades for everyone. Once you're entire team is at 6, I recommend moving on to equipment and tactics upgrades.
-When upgrading in the temple of might, prioritize offensive equipment/Tactics, but also make SURE your tank is maxed at all times in everything.
Your DPS can generally survive a few missing levels in armor, but you want to be getting as close to one shotting every non boss enemy you come across. Your tank obviously wants all their stats maxed at all times to ensure survivability since they're going to be taking all the hits and you wont have access to Tiaris.
-Skill diversity trumps damn near everything
At any point, from floor 1 all the way up to the end, if you're given the option for a skill crystal, that is the path you should take. Having a wide variety of skills is invaluable, and you never know when you'll trip over a crazy powerful skill that makes a lackluster character into an absolute unit.
-Below Floor 9 Skills > Equipment > Tactics
Equipment should be your first priority. It doesn't get you the meme numbers, but it absolutely guarantees a solid foundation to build off in higher floors. A fully equipped team with minimal Tactics is usually going to be Superior to the inverse, unless you are very lucky.
-Floor 9+, Skills > Tactics > Equipment
Unless you have some serious holes in your team, at floor 9, whenever you're given the choice, you should choose Tactics over equipment. At floor 9 and 10, the odds of getting hero talents to drop goes up a ton, and even when talents don’t drop, the static stat increases are way more valuable when your team has a full kit.
-Single Target > AoE
If you are given the choice between heroes, Tactics, or skills with a single target or AoE focus, you should only ever choose the AoE if you have an otherwise completely stacked team. I usually only intentionally pick up AoE stuff around floor 14, if that early. That said, there has now been 1 AoE focused boss mechanic. This guide is going up early so it's possible AoE has more value than I have let on. Doubtful though
-Adjust your Hero class to fit the equipment you have
There are lots of heroes with a generally less desirable upgrade path, Wehttam springs directly to mind, but again having a full build is way more important than the correct class. I’m sure it’s starting to sound redundant, but I’ve seen people mess this up pretty badly, keeping a character in their “optimal” class, bare ass naked, while equipment is showered upon their other class.
-Assassins… aren’t great
This one is probably the most to taste, so take it with a grain of salt. I love Assassins in general, but every time I’ve tried to use them against a floor boss, they’re turned into paste inside of 2 turns. They never have the defense or range they really need to go against the bosses. Especially as bosses tend to have more Def than MDef. You can get them to the point where they’re powerful, but I’ve found it’s a lot more effort than it’s worth.
-Mages are broken
Unlike Assassins, they almost always have either the range or the bulk (or goddamn both) to go toe to toe with the floor bosses. Even Sub-optimal choices will surprise you. Using obvious meta choices won’t surprise you, but it’ll be effective nonetheless.
-Always plan builds to fight the floor bosses.
A drunk sheep could complete all of the non boss fights on pure chance. Some of the Hero fights at the top of a floor are rough, but if you’re building to take down a big boss, they wont cause you any trouble. Meanwhile if you build a team of AoE punch monkeys, youre going to sail through the easy content but slam face first into the first floor boss you come against.
-Keep characters in their same basic role
This one generally goes without saying, but I’ve seen people trying to make healers into DPS just because they didn’t get any other mages. You can work with it, but it’s much more trouble than it’s worth if you have any other option. At the end of the day, a tank usually works best as a tank. That doesnt mean Virash isnt a madman if you put a tank skill on him, just that you will always have to do more work to compensate for these characters starting position.
-Have a balanced team
If you don’t have a Tank, Healer, MDPS and PhDPS, there’s a higher chance you're going to struggle. The game attempts to make sure you have this balance by itself (even if it does silly things like considering LoG a healer) and there’s a reason that your 2nd hero node is almost always tanks, and your third is almost always healers.
-Def/Mdef conversion stacks only with Water based Def conversion.
After the first run, most conversion stacking was removed from the game mode, but to date this one still works and I cannot recommend it enough. Getting a Jugler with Broken arrow, unbreakable guardian, and tidal surge is probably one of the most powerful combos you can get and it comes up super consistently.
-Act again skills/talents/tactics should always be a priority
Another one that goes without saying but I feel I should reinforce. Being able to attack multiple times per turn will save you so much grief. Keep choosing these skills until every DPS you have has at least a chance to act twice.
-Follow the path of least resistance
Making characters/skills/talents/equipment work in ways other than how they were intended is always fun, but it is rarely worth the investment when you’re going for your first clear. The sum total of a lot of the points I’ve made is to work with what you’re given, not around it.
-Above all else, be flexible
Use what the game throws your way. Upgrade obvious BIS combinations, but don't write off what would be less optimal. The nature of Endless Voyage is the ability to put things together that don't have the chance to be put together otherwise, and there are tons of powerful combinations you would never expect.
-Remember, while Luck is a factor in this game mode, skill is far more important.
Some of you may have pulled 6 healers and 19 Meteor tactics on a run before. It’s technically possible. However, most of us haven’t. Be smart about what your choosing, think about how new geaabilities can impact your team, and follow the guidelines ive laid out above and you should have no trouble clearing Endless Voyage

I’m a regional AeroPress 2nd place holder (losing against the three time current regional champion), and lost in the first round against our current national AeroPress champion in the national championship. When I’ve spoken about my experience it had some interest, so I thought it might be a good thing to write a little summary of my findings.
An AeroPress Championship is a competition in which you brew a coffee with an AeroPress, normally at the same time as two other competitors, which then normally three judges taste, without communicating with each other, and then choose the best-tasting one, by pointing to the winning cup. The name of the contestant is written under the cup, and switched places before the judges taste them, so there should be no way of knowing who’s cup is which.
There are three rules that must be observed:

1. You can’t use more than 18 grams of ground coffee.
2. You must present a coffee of at least 150ml.
3. You have to brew and present it within 5 minutes.

You can grind and heat your water before the timer starts. The beans for the competition will normally be ones from the organizers or sponsors of the competitions. They are the same for everyone. They will be made available for the participants 10 days before the competition, either for pick-up or by sending them to you. You’ll get one bag of 250 grams of beans, and another bag of the same size the day of the competition.
In those 10 days, you can experiment with the beans all you want. Keep in mind that if you use 18 grams of beans each time, you can only brew 13 cups, so be mindful of how you use the beans.
For me, the best strategy was first picking up a well-renowned good water for coffee in my country. You can try different waters and do a cupping first if you really want to nail the water first, but it takes a lot of effort (you have to brew each water independently), and I don’t think you get much out of it in the beginning.
From there use a well-known to you recipe that you normally use for the AeroPress. For me, it was the James Hoffman Method:

• 12g beans
• 200ml water
• 100º C water
• 2:00 shake, 2:30-3:00 press.

Now you have a baseline for what it tastes like, and you can experiment. The good thing is that all variables are defined and there is somewhat of a golden zone.
Water: You should look for a well-renowned water for being good for coffee in your country. Other than that, I know that Calcium, Magnesium, and alcalinity are important for coffee extraction, but not enough to tell you the exact proportions, sorry. You can go as deep on this as want. You can use a Britta or BWT Filter, you can buy water packets from specialty coffee vendors, or you can create your own with distilled water, and then calculate the quantities of sodium bicarbonate and magnesium sulfate you need to add to get the quality in the water that you want. This will give you very marginal gains in terms of taste, much much less than having a good recipe, so I’d say that unless you know what you are doing, at most buy a few easily available and well regarded waters, and with your recipe determined, try which one tastes best.
Temperature: Most recipes recommend brewing between 80º C to 100ºC, so try 3 brews changing only temperature, 90ºC, 80ºC, and 100ºC. I recommend trying with 90ºC first because it is more likely to being close to optimal, so you’ll have a decent reference to start from. The generally accepted wisdom is that darker roasted coffee is preferably brewed at a lower temperature, and lighter roasts at almost boiling temperatures. I’d say lately the lighter roasts being better at boiling points affirmation has been more in contention, especially with experimental fermentation coffee. In any case, taste is king.
Brew time: Most recipes start from at least 1 minute. Since you have a 5-minute time limit to make and serve the coffee, I would recommend not brewing more than for 4 minutes. Keep in mind that you’ll also have to prepare the AeroPress, pour the water, and cool down the coffee in that time. Technically the longer you brew it, the sweeter the coffee will be, but extraction can be sped up with stirring. Stirring is less likely to be consistent brew to brew so be wary of that, since you’ll be going round through round with the same recipe, and its a good thing to be consistent.
Grind size: Start with the grind size recommended for the AeroPress for your grinder, and go finer until you notice astringency (it dries out your mouth) and go one step coarser. That’ll be the perfect grind setting for you. They’ll most likely offer you a few different grinders during the competitions, but if you don’t know the perfect setting for your recipe on that grinder I would refrain from using them, even if they are much more sophisticated, because it’ll most likely produce different effects on your recipe. It has been said that grinding twice, first very coarse and then those ground beans to the final desired size may be beneficial, as it may be a way to reduce ultrafines and create a more even grind, and the current AeroPress World Champion has certainly done so, but I do not think that she won solely because of that.
Proportions of coffee and water: This is a difficult one. The AeroPress can hold at most about 300ml, and that would be pushing it. If you brew normally some of that will bypass the coffee without actually extracting much, which will the reduce the strength of the coffee compared to using the inverted method. This is not necessarily a bad thing just something to account for when trying recipes. Since you can use only 18g or less and the AeroPress can only hold about 300ml you have two upper limits here, which coincidentally makes for a somewhat golden zone ratio, as that would be 1 part of beans to 16 parts of water (also normally expressed as 1:16) You can manipulate it by using more water after brewing but it is a good reference to have. I’ve seen people go as low as 1:20 and as strong as 1:10. So that would be 10 grams and 20 grams of ground beans for 200ml of water, respectively. It has been said that bland coffees benefit from using stronger ratios, and flowery and experimentally processed coffees from milder concentrations to let the smells and taste develop, but I’d say it is very bean specific. Just determine it according to your own taste.
Filters: According to the official rules you can use any kind of filter as long as you use the normal filter cap from the AeroPress itself. You can use official paper filters from AeroPress itself, the fairly recently produced official metal Aeropress filter, or a cloth one if you want. I’ve also seen competitors using two paper filters at the same time, and Aesir filters, which are a premium type of filter said to provide more clarity.
Other considerations: Additionally, it is important to keep in mind that the judges will taste the coffee short after brewing it, so if it is still hot, it will not be judged favorably. I have an external thermometer so I’ve determined that the optimal serving temperature for me was 65ºC, which I managed to reach quickly by switching the coffee from mug to mug a few times to get it to cool down quickly, because the heat of the coffee will dissipate in the cold mug. Optimal drinking temperature has been said to be 60ºC, so I keep it a little higher because I don’t know how long the judges will take to cup the brewed coffee. Keep in mind that the judges will base their judgments of your coffee by sipping the coffee (loudly) from a spoon, much like cupping, so the whole brew won’t be judged as such, just those sips. Make sure you optimize taste for this, then.
While calibrating your recipe keep in mind to only change one variable at a time, and in order to do comparative tasting I would actually recommend using more than one AeroPress if you can to keep the brewed coffee temperatures similar at the same time.
On the day of the competition I’ve seen people spread out their beans to filter out defect beans which can improve flavor. I’ve also seen the Kruve and other sifters being used to filter out the ultrafines after grinding, as they have a tendency to overextract and taste bitter. If you have it and want to use it do so by all means, but otherwise I wouldn’t even entertain the thought.
Final thoughts: I would like to clearly state that I only wrote this out to put a method to my own process of optimizing a recipe for a specific bean as a learning process, and that the most important part of participating in an AeroPress competition is having fun, getting to know other people that have the same passion as you, make new friends and grow as a person. At the end of the day, you can think you have the best recipe ever, but if it is not according to the tastes of the judges there is nothing you can do, so relax and have fun. You are likely to see people who have been years in the industry with very expensive tools, but don’t let that intimidate you, because in my experience they are as likely to win as the newcomers if their recipe is more according to the tastes of the judges. Everybody there will share the same passion as you for the beverage, so take the opportunity to make some friends in the industry.
I hope this text gives you a little bit of direction in the search for the perfect AeroPress recipe! Also, feedback is extremely welcome!

Argument:
Person A: 2 damage die+strength mod+(proficiency bonus only applied to off hand strike). total of 3 strikes against BBEG with only 1 proficiency mod.
Person B: 4 damage die(total)+strength mod+proficiency bonus(2 die). Total 4 strikes against BBEG with 2 proficiency mod.
I'm not gonna say who's dm and who's PC.
But... who's more right or are both person wrong?

Dear mods this is the height of non credible- I have no knowledge of warfare and have been staring at a map for 3 minutes. I’ve been thinking in my armchair a lot about the upcoming counteroffensive and how Ukraine can perform a successful counteroffensive. Yeah think my final thesis could be quite a game changer and having war gamed it on risk twice I’m convinced that this will be the most successful strategy. (As in most funny)
Before we begin it is important to outline the three or four most important objectives for the counteroffensive.

1. There must be visible success- this will allow Ukraine to maintain western support.
   
2. The success should not result in Russia being able to regain territory rapidly once Ukraine had lost troops and weaponry in the assault.
   
3. Therefore Ukraine need to both damage the Russian army physically and psychologically enough that they cannot respond, whilst also sustaining as minimal damage to their own troops, weapons and supplies as possible.
   
4. Ukraine must be careful not to lose their moral superiority. Essentially the western world have dictated the rules that Ukraine play under. Shaping operations must be directed towards the western opinions on the rules they play under as much as against Russian supplies.
   

Now that we have established these aims let’s look at the map again. Now prior to May all the focus was on a thrust south towards Mariupol. This would split the Russian forces in two, mass encirclements and effectively suffocating crimea. The problem is that this was very obvious to the Russians too and we’ve seen massive defensive work taking place to make this impenetrable. Despite this, it is still theorised that this could be where the thrust comes, with potential attacks to the east drawing Russian forces away.
The problem is this plan runs into issues with my key objectives 1 and 3. Ukraine runs the risk of not managing to penetrate the lines, and also even if they do, losing huge numbers of troops in the process. So although I like the theory, I think it needs discounting at the moment.
More recently we’ve seen multiple attacks inside Russia both from drones, missiles, and troops. I argue that not only are these shaping operations, knocking out important supplies to the Russian frontlines and reminding the Russian population that they are in a war, they also are successfully shaping the western rule book to allow Ukrainian troops to move through Russian territory to achieve objectives. Indeed the UK and Germany both have now stated this.
So suppose Ukraine actually began the offensive with a thrust towards Valuyki? Imagine the panic in Moscow, then swept south sweeping along and just behind Russian positions? The attacks in Belgorod demonstrated how slow the Russians are to such incursions. Ukraine could race down to Mariupol almost unopposed for the first day and likely much of the second. Thiswould result in the encirclement of much of the Northern forces should they reach Mariupol then they could theoretically surround almost the entire Russian army. But even if it was just the northernmost armies that were encircled this would be a huge statement of the ability of Ukraine and the state of the war. Anyway that’s my plan and when it happens you heard it here first.

I lurk this sub sometimes and I saw some discussions about recommended drilling methods, etc. and it reminded me of your average internet rumors and gossip about how some cops in X department have crappy accuracy, barely train, can't clean their guns for shit, etc.
I know that different departments probably have different ways of going about things, and also I know there's plenty more to LE work than just "nail that baddie 40 yards away with your service pistol! go!" So I'm not asking this to prove any points or validate any opinions I have about cops, I'm just curious to see what some LE have to say about this stuff.
How often do you guys train/qualify with your firearms? What's it like? Do you feel like your colleagues are good shots? Do you guys do any specific drills or does your department just toss you into a lane and say "hit bullseye"? How do personal firearms or unique choices (like if one officer still wants to use 357 or 40 S&W when everyone else is given 9mm) factor into this (if at all)? Are you folks expected to bring your service weapons home or personally maintain them, or do you have an armorer? I'm asking that question specifically because this cop down the street from me semi-frequently leaves his patrol carbine propped up against the window of his cruiser parked outside. Does weapons proficiency factor into what kind of role you're put into (besides SWAT obviously)? Do you feel like your colleagues, even the green ones, would be able to hold up well in a gunfight? Etc.

It was a day in A-dos-Francos to get to know the world of João Almeida. What does homecoming taste like?
- I haven't been here for a long time. I walked around Andorra, where I now live and spend most of the year. Afterwards, I was in Sierra Nevada, on an internship with the team. I spend less and less time here and it feels good to come here in winter, enjoy the climate and see my parents and the rest of the family. It feels good to rest, especially after a completed goal. Hello everybody. So I’m a fairly new English tutor. I have only been tutoring since the start of the year. I have been using Cambly, however the rating system has now meant I cannot get anymore priority hours due to my scores being effected so I’m relying heavily on reservations which aren’t that reliable for me at the moment due to cancellations and no shows.
So I’m hoping to venture on to other platforms as I prefer working from home and would like to continue this journey in an attempt to make full time money. I sadly don’t have a degree but I am studying for a Bachelor’s in Psychology. I also have a TEFL which I completed last year.
I have seen that some people do private tutoring but I wouldn’t know where to start with that however I wouldn’t be against the idea.
Has anyone had much experiences with other sites ? What’s your opinions on the best ones ? I know a lot of them can be low pay. I’m in a predicament at the moment as I put all my eggs in to one basket and now I don’t have much of an income 😭. I’d rather not go back to a 9-5. But I may have to. Feeing a bit fed up.

I tried to search here if we are still allowed to post mocks and could not find anything, so please just throw down the hammer if it isn't (not that I actually need to give permission, but anyway).
I usually only do one of those per draft season. I like to see the prospects for my own team, but at least once I like to share my ideas for every team, just to see from other fanbases how they perceive their team. Since the Mavs could (probably should) trade down, I managed to talk with Raptors, Pacers, Nets and Jazz fans quite a little bit. However, for the other fanbases, I only know what I saw from their teams and what I read here. I like when these mocks are just a "Is my perception of your team good?" instead of "I'm a lucky teller and the best scout in the internet". So, if this stays, I would love to hear how right or wrong my perception of your team is.
I tried to make some trades and I tried to be unbiased for the Mavs as much as I could, but the lack of deep knowledge made me able to pinpoint only one draft move that didn't involve the Mavericks, so the same applies, the "My team would never draft here, we would trade the pick" criticism also applies. Finally, I have a bias towards and against specific prospect and physical specimens and this will very likely be featured.

I'm not entirely sure where to start. Been together 1.5 years. At the beginning this was a relationship we've both waited our whole lives for. But as time goes on you get to find out things and sometimes you can't help but question everything.
Ive always been the one in the relationship that supports harder, understands better and has more patience when things aren't all rosey. An empath. My partner's had a lot of stress in her life which seems to follow her everywhere. Her 13 year old kid has undiagnosed adhd which also brings stress, but that can be totally managed with love and patience (the dad has never ever been around). But like I say, I picked up the slack with everyday things, lightened the load and the burdens which I was always happy to do. I felt like if roles were reversed she would have supported me the same way.
Things started getting rocky when I found out she was a secret smoker and sneakily hiding it from me, but hiding it mostly from her kid. I had an inkling about it anyway but it was never confirmed until a few months in. I'm against smoking but can understand if people need a stress relief. It wasn't a big deal but the sneakiness of it all effected me. I let her know this and we had arguments about it but she never really budged. She did quit for 3 weeks but gave in and refused my help and support so I had to get used to the idea. I did. Because I told myself i love her.
Anyways a few months later things went further south. Her phone started going off at all hours in the night. I confronted her and she just said it was Instagram notifications. I believed her. But it kept happening. One night in bed it woke me up as it buzzed like 6 times in a row. I snooped (no lectures please I already know it's bad) and saw that it was a guy she used to date basically booty calling her with messages on Snapchat (queue the Snapchat haters brigade. Kids and drug dealers use it a lot- more on that later). I also saw that there was a half naked picture of her saved in his chat from a week after our first date. My senses left me and I replied as her, asking when was the last time they spoke. Months ago apparently. But I still felt betrayed. She woke up early that morning, walked the dog and obviously knew what had happened. She said nothing though, because her mother was dying and actually passed away that afternoon. This was January, not very long ago I know.
This obviously shook everything to the core and became the number one focus. Despite my feeling about what I found I only had focus on supporting her. So I did and learned to get over it in time by throwing myself into being her rock. It's been an obvious harrowing time since. But I showed up every day, offered her space, picked up the slack at home (we don't live together but I've stayed over almost every day of every week since), covered bills and food, took care of her kid and dog and all despite her attempts to push me away.
Now here's the part in having trouble working out.
I set my boundaries and early on. Drugs, cheating and lies are all deal-breakers. She understood this. In February I began to feel in my gut that she was taking coke. Her ex was a dealer and I know she used to do it with him. She told me she had been free of them for a year when we got together. These gut feelings wouldn't budge. Having never taken drugs or been around it i did some research/asked friends and some things added up. So I went looking. And found a bag of coke, a bank card and rolled up paper in a jewelry box under her nightstand. When confronted she said she didn't know it was there and it was from before she moved house a year ago. I didn't believe her but she gaslit me (didn't recognise this at the time please go easy on me) into thinking I was wrong for snooping and not trusting her. She brought up me going through her phone too, said she knew all along and was gonna let it go until I went looking. We sorted it I forgave her (gaslit) and she told me she got rid of it.
When I snooped her phone the first time, I saw messages to her friends asking to buy drugs. Never knew it was that at the time. A codename was used and I didn't really understand what the codename meant until way later when it was referred to as cocaine on some twitter post. Given her sneaky behaviour and what I found I snooped her phone again a few weeks after finding the coke. Confirmed she wanted to buy them the night before (the night i first snooped on her phone) and within the few weeks that her mother died. I also found that she had changed that guy's name on her Snapchat and was still talking to him. After she said she'd deleted him and the picture. Wounded. I was definitely ending the relationship after this.
But yet again she got that torch out and made me feel like I was equally to blame for going through her phone again, says it's a form of domestic abuse and we are both in the wrong. She admitted speaking to the guy, I told her it was emotionally cheating and she obliterated my boundaries but she said she never ended up buying the drugs. After a long talk we agreed to put it behind us. On my part she was still grieving and I know it makes people do things out of character.
Fast forward a few weeks. I hear her and her kid in the kids room acting suspicious. A lot of hushing a lot of laughing and a lot of coughing as if someone has inhaled something too quick. They're vaping together. I know it. We were out in the car and stopped by the store before hand. The kid definitely asked for a vape via text. The kid says to me let's drive around the corner to hide, but what she really did was make sure i dont see her mother buying vapes. I confront her after hearing them locked in the bedroom. But she lies to my face. I stew in silence. I can not be apart of a relationship where she's giving her kid a nicotine addiction. I confront her again. Gaslight. How dare I accuse her of doing something like that when I snooped through her phone twice. The next day we made up. Some pattern huh? Even writing this I can't believe I've put up with it.
For the last 2 weeks all this betrayal has consumed me, along with the lies and everything else. This is where I've figured out about the gaslighting. Not at the time unfortunately but just in the past couple of weeks. All the while supporting her through grief and domestic duties to make sure nothing is a burden too much. Mostly without thanks but I do it because I wanted to be here. The best thing ive done was encourage her to go to therapy which she has been doing. But I'm running on empty here. I'm close to breaking down and when I try and say I need space to myself or even express that I feel like a doormat at times I'm not listened to. My feelings aren't important. I mean they're not as important as her grieving but I'm pretty sure I'm important too right?
Why am I staying with her? Because she's going through hell after losing her mother, something I'm yet to feel or even fathom out. And despite her shit treatment of me I cannot give up on someone who is on their knees emotionally on a daily basis. But I'm close to breaking point and I'm not sure how I can support her further after constantly disrespecting my feelings. I'm not sure if I can trust this version of her.
So basically, have any of you guys experienced anything at all similar when it comes to grief or their partners grief? Do I stick out the storm and when it's less raw will things start to improve? Or am I fighting a losing battle? Remove the bad times since her mother passed and it was great. We wanted to settle forever. But now I'm only still with her sold on that future and because I know grief is absolutely incredibly awful and it's not her for the most part. Don't get me wrong, I'm not perfect and am to blame for some of the things we argue over. But I feel like I'm instantly accountable and want to make it right a lot quicker than her. Currently arguing over her lack of basic communication skills that I ask for but she never updates me on.
I'm too old to be having this sort of relationship anxiety. I'm booking myself into therapy this week before things become a lot worse for my MH.
