2023.06.01 14:40 IllustriousFalcon953 First Tattoo

Hey everyone! I’ve never gotten a tattoo before but always wanted one so I guess I just had some questions about how to get started. 1. How do you go about finding a good artist or telling the good ones from the bad ones? 2. If I don’t know exactly what I want will I be charged for them to help with that/sketch out a design? 3. Is there a general rule for tipping? 4. If I get a little but of color will it change the price drastically or not that much? 5. Is there anything I didn’t think to ask that I should know before getting one?
I’m sure I’ll have other questions later but that’s all I can think of now so anything y’all can help with would be great!

Seriously Peak Design?! $300 CAD for mount accessories?! Anyone recommend anything much less for Galaxy S23 Ultra? Lol Pretty much looking for all three items so that it's interchangeable. It would be pretty convenient.

2023.06.01 14:40 LordVoldebot Can someone recommend me a good laptop from this specific website as a relative is flying in?

My brother is coming back from Saudia and there's a sale going on at https://www.extra.com/en-sa/ which ends today.
Here are my requirements:
  1. Under SAR 2000
  2. screen size: minimum 15"
  3. Should be able to playback 4k HDR10+ movies (even if the screen isn't 4K or HDR10+ as I connect my laptop to the TV for movies).
  4. Screen resolution: minimum 1080p
  5. RAM: minimum 8GB (with additional slots to upgrade in the future)
  6. Dedicated Graphics Card (if its possible in this budget)
I do some light gaming such as SIMS 4, Skyrim and hopefully Hogwarts Legacy if I can play it in this budget.

2023.06.01 14:40 akchahal Impeller vs Front-Loader?

Hi friends!
My wife and I are in the market for a new washing machine. We inherited the current ones from the previous homeowners. It's a front loader and they did not do a great job of maintainig it. The gasket has mold spots in it.
As such we're reluctant to get another front-loader. I've read about how to properly maintain a front loader (keep door open, wipe gasket after use, etc) but we've had a few friends/family who have done those things and still get mold.
We're leaning towards getting an impeller top-load machine because it is gentler on clothes and uses less water than agitator style machine. However, a sales rep told us that clothes washed in top-load machines tend to hold more water because the drum can't spin as fast as a front-load. Therefore, they end up taking longer to dry.
I've read impellers don't clean as well but we don't have super dirty/soiled clothes. Just regular every day use.
So my questions are:
1) Does anyone know if that is true or not?
2) Do impeller machines require more/less maintenance than a front-loader?
3) What are reasons you'd choose an impeller or front-loader?

2023.06.01 14:40 MissSassifras1977 Need advice in FL

My son is 30. Recently diagnosed type 1. He was misdiagnosed two years ago as a type 2. He takes short acting and long acting insulin.
We are unable to get his blood sugar under control.
He went from 450 to 29 yesterday. Lost consciousness. He is now hospitalized. Second time in a month.
He is on the verge of being fired.
Would he qualify for unemployment? Short term disability? We are in Florida unfortunately. Does anyone know the process to get short term disability or some type of financial assistance so he doesn't end up homeless of he does lose his job?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

2023.06.01 14:40 IWouldRatherBeSkiing Dental SCO wait and upcoming orthodontist payments

Hi, I recently hit the 2 year mark last month so in a perfect world my dental would be effective today. However, I know there’s a huge SCO backlog (they took 1.5 years to enroll me in the prepaid dental). I know that we can ask our personnel specialist to manually enroll us for a dental appointment but I had a question on if that works for ortho payments.
For example, I’m on a monthly payment plan for my braces and am wondering if manually enrolling for a month would allow me to utilize the $1000 ortho coverage. Or if I would have to wait months until SCO processes it.
If I have to wait, would I get reimbursed for the payments I made during my retroactive period? I only owe about a thousand left so if it gets processed 6 months from now I’m not sure if I would get that money back or not.
Kind of a specific question but figured I’d ask. Thanks!

2023.06.01 14:40 code_hunter_cc jQuery how to fix Cannot set property '_DT_CellIndex' of undefined?

Ajax
I'm new in Jquery and I want once the user adds new row and give the important information once he clicks on "Ajouter" button it will add on data base then reload the table automatically.Once i run that I found that the data added successfully to the database however "tablebqup" does not reload anymore and it I found this error :
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set property '\_DT\_CellIndex' of undefined Here is the function to add the new element:
$("#newbq").click(function () { var indexadd= $('table#tablebqup tr:last').index() + 1; //Now add this row to the table: var row=' '; $('#tablebqup').append(row); $(".addbc").click(function () { var nombc=($(this).parent().parent().find('td:eq(1)').html()); var abrv= ($(this).parent().parent().find('td:eq(2)').html()); var sigsoc=($(this).parent().parent().find('td:eq(3)').html()); var telf=($(this).parent().parent().find('td:eq(4)').html()); var fx=($(this).parent().parent().find('td:eq(5)').html()); // if (nombc=="" abrv=="" sigsoc=="" (telf=="" && fx=="")) if (nombc=="") { alert("Rempier toutes les informations de la banque d'abord") } else { $choix=confirm("voulez vous vraiment ajouter la banque"); if ($choix) { console.log(nombc); $.post(basUrl+'views/component/updtbq.php', { action:'add\_bq', nomb:nombc, abrvb:abrv, sigsocial:sigsoc, tel:telf, fax:fx, }, function(data) { alert(data); $('#tablebqup').DataTable().ajax.reload();//My problem is here }); } } }); }); In the fist time one i run it it showed something like this :
“Uncaught TypeError: $(…).DataTable is not a function” To solve it i added the appropriate link and script:
Doing that the error has changed to :
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set property '\_DT\_CellIndex' of undefined What surprised me that i have used above similar logic I mean use the same:
$('#tablebqup').DataTable().ajax.reload(); and once I click another button just to modify information on data base in this way :
$(".modif").click(function () { $choix=confirm("voulez vous vraiment sauvegarder les modifications"); if ($choix) { var id=($(this).parent().parent().find('td:eq(0)').html());// the value in the 1st column. var nombc=($(this).parent().parent().find('td:eq(1)').html()); var abrv= ($(this).parent().parent().find('td:eq(2)').html()); var sigsoc=($(this).parent().parent().find('td:eq(3)').html()); var telf=($(this).parent().parent().find('td:eq(4)').html()); var fx=($(this).parent().parent().find('td:eq(5)').html()); console.log(id); $.post(basUrl+'views/component/updtbq.php', { action:'update\_bq', idbc:id, nomb:nombc, abrvb:abrv, sigsocial:sigsoc, tel:telf, fax:fx, }, function(data) { $('#tablebqup').DataTable().ajax.reload(); }); } That work perfectly without adding any of this two links!!!

2023.06.01 14:40 Boopy-Schmeeze If I don't meet someone by the time I lose my hair, life is going to suck forever.

I'm only 25 and I'm balding. I'm doing everything I can for it (keeps), but it might be too late because all it does is help you keep your hair. About 1/3 of people taking it get some regrowth, but only 20% of hair grows back, max. I'm already not very confident in my appearance, and pretty girls rarely like me as it is, but if I'm still single by the time I have to shave it all off that'll be it. I'll never have the confidence to talk to pretty girls, and no pretty girl is gonna want some ugly bald dude when their personality doesn't make up for it. Life is shit.

2023.06.01 14:39 itsthelastpaige My (30F) husband (30M) wants me to stop drinking alcohol while we try for a baby.

Okay Reddit. We need your help.
My (30F) husband (30M) and I are planning to start trying for a kid this summer, but we’re disagreeing on how I should be acting in the meantime.
In the summer, we usually drink one night per week and we do weed gummies 1-2 nights per week. While drinking, I’ll have anywhere from 2-4 beers, depending on the occasion.
In my opinion, until I see I positive pregnancy test (which I plan to take regularly) I’m not pregnant and should carry on as usual. However, my doctor advised me and my husband not to do weed gummies because it could affect sperm quality, so we’re planning to stop those after this weekend. But I should still be able to enjoy my 2-3 beers one night per week if I want to (again, in my opinion, since the doctor didn’t express concern about that prior to becoming pregnant).
In his opinion, if we have sex, we should assume that it was successful and I should act as though I’m pregnant. Meaning, no alcohol at all. But since HE’S not the one that’s “pregnant”, he plans to continue drinking one night a week.
We have a trip to Germany planned for this September and he fully expects me to refrain from alcohol the whole time. When I asked him to do the same, he said he didn’t want to go to a country known for their beer and not have any.
I talked to my therapist about it and she suggested my husband speak to a doctor or a therapist about his concerns and let me take care of my own body. He gave me a hard NO to that suggestion.
Then I suggested he ask his friends to see what they think. He said the only opinions that matter are his and mine since it’s about our kid.
How can we have a civil conversation about this?

2023.06.01 14:39 princejadid U.S. Nonfarm Productivity Report June 1, 2023

U.S. Nonfarm Productivity Report June 1, 2023
In the first quarter, U.S. Nonfarm Productivity decreased by 2.1%, performing better than the projected 2.4% decline and showing improvement from the previous quarter's 2.7% decrease. This may indicate that although output per hour in the business sector has declined, it hasn't fallen as much as anticipated, possibly suggesting a less dramatic economic deceleration. Conversely, U.S. Unit Labor Costs increased by 4.2% in the same quarter, which is less than the expected 6.0% rise and lower than the 6.3% rise observed in the previous period. This suggests that while labor costs per output unit have increased, the rise isn't as steep as forecasted, potentially pointing to more efficient business operations and a slower inflation rate than initially feared. #MarketUpdate
