Musa - Winter Chimes - Musa puts her hands together then unleashes a sound attack , that deafens opponents and encases them in a Frozen Orb. Stella - Crystal Light [ i love this one too so ykkykyk ] - Stella unleashes a light that freezes anything that dares look at her beauty , she can also manipulate that light into an orb that explodes and freezes anything caught in the light. Tecna - Prismatic Thunder - Tecna aims with her fingers in a beam like way , then that beam encases the target in a prism , that prism being made out of ice , Tecna can also manipulate the Prism to move the target. Roxy - Artic Claw - Roxy's hand is basically in a claw shape and she uses that claw to strike her enemies down , once the claw touches an enemy it engulfs them in a frozen wall like chamber.

I don't think demand has dropped this much. Uber has overhauled their platform to exclude picky drivers. I went from being able to make $50-100/night to maybe getting 1 or 2 rides, and I'm pretty sure I can guess why. I doubt it's demand, because too many weird things have been happening randomly....for example last friday night I went driving, got online and ventured out into the deep. It was over an hour and I had not seen any requests, so I go offline and go back on....immediately get a 'out of your preference' eats request for $3. Accept that, complete it, and wait for another ride.....nothing coming in. Go offline and back on, immediately boom another out of preference request....$2
So I thought that was a good tactic to keep using just driving around and toggling off and on, but they just keep giving ridiculous requests that I can't make any money from. How is something like $3 for 12 miles viable?
Too many drivers are calling out common scenarios in some of the biggest cities in the country. I bet if we compared our stats we would notice a similar trend.
We all know Uber is dishonest and does things like baiting drivers to a surge zone only to rip it away when you reach the area. They contain all the power to curtail our experience and unfortunately for those who are struggling it's causing us extreme frustration and affecting our lifestyles. Just wish this was fair, but it looks like they only care about drivers who will accept low fares that take exorbitant amounts of time to complete.
To those who are condescending to drivers, you should be ashamed. I'm willing to bet at some point in your lives you needed or will need a ride from rideshare, and I bet you'd be mad taking a cab...because cabs aren't cheap, neither is Uber for that matter just a little bit less.
These drivers provide a much needed service but it's looked at as a bum job because people just think drivers are worthless, have no skills, lazy, not willing to better themselves.
Drivers are just people, making extra cash, or ends meet...but that isn't commendable in this world. I've used Uber plenty of times, and I know how it is...and when I do use it I tip great. I tip great because I know that most people who Uber are going through tough times, I can see that thousand yard star in their eyes...the feeling of just getting through another day, another trip to the gas station, another PB&J sandwich, another bill finally paid, getting that laundry detergent so you can wash your clothes, standing at the grocery store picking the generic brands and adding the prices up based on what's left in your bank account, declining friends invitations to hang out because you aren't sure you can afford it.
There is a very small percentage that wants to do this for a career. It's a stepping stone to something better. People love to tell you that if you don't like something or it's not enough, find something else. Thanks for that idea, you know I just didn't fucking think of that 🙄
I use it for extra income due to covid wiping out my family's expenses and catching their lives back up, it's been a tough couple of years and Uber has helped me and I am grateful for what I've been able to do. I work my ass off though, nights and weekends I'm on the road putting the hours, miles, wear and tear on my car and self.
I like having the flexibility to drive when I can, so getting a second scheduled job doesn't fit for me.

Also very fond of japanese cars and will own a Nissan in any form possible, especially the 350z

I'm fully intending on investing in a proper mid-range CO2 laser down the line, but I'm not there yet (figuring out business/products and what exactly I need). Have been planning on outsourcing cutting of some prototypes to external laser cutting places, however I just came across this extremely cheap portable diode laser, and wondering if I could get by with one of these for the purposes of just testing out ideas, without having a particular need for fast efficient cutting.
For the price ($77AUD, which is roughly $50 US dollars), I fully understand it's likely to be a bit of a POS and probably not have a long shelf life, but wondering if this kind of thing can be a passable/usable POS, or just not worth the bother? Would use it for thin ply and acrylic.
Has anyone used this kind of thing and able to share some feedback on their experience?

Hi there, I'm Anthony and I solely believe in ghosts and I am a diehard horror fan. But I have never felt so uncomfortable, yet safe, yet paranoid in my life.
I lost my Mom at 14, and my Dad, 2 years, 4 months, and 5 days after. It was a little over a month after my 17th birthday. When my dad died, my sister was 19, her boyfriend (now fiancé) was 22, and none of us had the credit history to refinance on my childhood home. Though it was in one of the many hoods of my hometown in the West Coast, I still miss it to this day, and so does my sister. Since then, I had to go through Guardianship, Probate, and having to get ready to move out.
When I moved with them (my sister and her bf), the area that we live in is about a 15-25 minute, gas-guzzling drive back into my hometown, aka, the city. We live in building 1, which consists of alot of single, stoner mothers with plenty of children. I vividly remember earlier this month i was hanging out with who we will call I, and T, for the remainder of this story. I was sipping on a Coca-Cola and eating a pepperoni pizza slice from dominoes when they told me the story about the poor child known as Bella, I've always called her, Little Bella, since.
Little Bella's parents I believe were doing chores around the house and running errands, And she just so happened to be a wee bit curios and adventurous, as all creative 3 year old children are. Her favorite show was playing (sadly, I don't know which one), and she wanted to turn on the tv. However, the tv was one of the HUGE box tv's like the one i grew up with back in the early 2010's, you know, the ones with the blue, green, and red lights inside of it to project the show. The tv stood on a small little stand that she inevitably climbed on top of, and lets just say that she is now in a place where that show will always play, and she gets to come up with the most beautiful episodes no director could imagine in 10 lifetimes.
The sad thing, was after the loud noises occurred and the inevitable happened, the father put the girl in the bathtub, not filled with water, she was just put in there because the father had no idea of what to do. As someone who sleeps in the living room of the same apartment she "dreamt away" in, and someone who has developed paranoia since my parents passings, I often see shadowy figures of what looks like that little girl, probably with pigtails, and maybe sometimes just a ponytail.
She seems innocent and happy, but sometimes she just spooks me once in a while when the light to the bathroom isn't on and she's lying there in fetal position by the shower handle, once the light goes on it feels like i can feel her scurry past my legs and out the door to probably go outside and come back in the hallway when I'm done.

My fiancé (31F) and I (30M) are expecting a baby in November. We both have full-time jobs, a mortgage, and 2 dogs. I cover around 80-90% of the household expenses, including the mortgage, power, insurance, internet, and water bill. She only pays for gas and groceries, and I usually cover the bill when we eat out. We've had this arrangement for several years. We have this arrangement because my income is a lot higher then hers and she has a car payment and student loans she’s paying off.
Recently, with the baby on the way, I've expressed the need for more careful spending. We've been discussing bigger expenses. However, today she suggested going to Mexico to visit her godkids. She got upset when I expressed my inability to afford an unplanned trip, especially considering the expenses we've already had this year. We took a trip to Denver in April, went to South Carolina last month for my uncle's birthday party, and I'm soon heading back to South Carolina to discuss his will since he has cancer and wants my assistance with carrying out his will.
The tickets for the Mexico trip alone are currently around $600 each, and the total cost of the trip would likely be at least $2,000, considering other expenses there. When she asked if I wanted to go, I honestly told her that I can't afford it due to the unexpected expenses we've already had this year.
I have more credit card debt than savings at the moment and need to focus on reducing it. Additionally, as first-time parents, we should be financially prepared for any unexpected expenses that may arise.
I also reminded her that I lent her $2,000 recently to pay her income tax bill, which she promised to repay as soon as she could save up the money.
She accused me of being selfish and claimed this might be our last chance to travel before the baby arrives. I suggested a more budget-friendly alternative, like a local trip to San Antonio using my accumulated points for a two-night stay. However, she instantly rejected the idea and insisted on seeing her godkids. I then told her that if she really wants to go, she can do so, as I believe it's more important for us to be financially stable before the baby arrives in five months. We haven't made any major purchases yet, despite her sisters planning a baby shower.

This seems clear cut to me (and a very privileged problem), but here we are:
I (46M) just got a promotion at work, and my partner, "Michelle" (45F), suggested I could use a little bit of my raise to get a cleaning person every two weeks for my apartment (we split time between my place and hers). I gave her $160 in cash (my friend advised me to tip $20 for each cleaning). She told me that wasn’t enough, that she needed $180 for the first cleaning (not including the tip).
I was confused and asked her did it take longer than she expected (no), was it dirtier and she had to work harder (no), did she use more supplies than estimated (no), rather after doing the cleaning, she felt that $180 for the first cleaning, and $140 for each subsequent cleaning was the new price she felt was fair.
I told her that had she told me this BEFORE she started to work (she had done a walkthrough prior to start working so I could show her the apartment) I probably would have agreed to the new pricing (or asked to meet in the middle), but to spring this on me AFTER the work was done, with no real reason for it other than “this is what I think it’s now worth” isn’t fair, and that she can take the $160, but that’s all she’s getting from me and I won’t be using her services in the future.
She took the money, gathered her stuff, and stormed out. She called my friend’s wife, and I’m getting a lot of texts about them about how I’m being cheap and made them look bad (how?). But to me there’s the principle. She quoted a job, worked the job, and then tried to increase the price after the work was done even though she admits she didn’t do more work than what she quoted for or needed more supplies than what she estimated. My friend says I should have just paid because I could afford it. He and I are both big fans of this sub, and we agreed to let you decide, so AITA?

This happened about three or four years ago now. Was reminded of it and thought I'd share again. While I've certainly dabbled plenty, this post is about a friend of mine who took too much of the most potent mushroom known to man. There are some things that were probably forgotten about or accidentally left out, it's been a minute, but nonetheless here is my friend's experience.
One night I came home from a long shift at work to find my roommate tripping sack on mushrooms. That in particular wasn't the issue, but he was in a sleeping bag on the floor when my other roommate walked over to him and was just checking on him. He said "Let me see your hand" because we were going to get him out of the bag. He just smiled weirdly and looked at him. So he decided to reach in and grab his hands to move him. As soon as he grabbed his hand a look came over his face of "No you fucking didn't". And yes he fucking did.
He shit, naked all inside the sleeping bag and was playing with it, and my other roommate just grabbed his hands. We all realized how out of it he really was, which for him is saying something. So we decide to leave him in the bag and try to move him to the shower. When we make it to the door to the bathroom we tell him to drop the sleeping bag and he was greatly offended by this and started to get really confused. Out of nowhere, he says "I have to pee". So we tell him to go pee then, pointing at the toilet.
He proceeds to piss in the sleeping bag, standing up. At this point, we just shove him in the bathroom and I took the role of getting him in the shower. Once he was finally in I turn the warm water on and tell him to clean up. He starts humming and singing while moving back and forth slightly. I decided to let him just soak. Right as I was leaving the bathroom I told him "Do not touch this knob", as I feared he may not realize how hot the water is. Before I can say anything else he grabs his dick and begins to masturbate. I yelled at him and he looked shocked. Like everything was fine and had no idea why I was so upset.
We finally get him to clean up and I leave the bathroom. While he was showering I hear him talking and he kept saying "I'm so glad I'm back guys, it's good to be back" and just kept singing. When he got out of the shower it was like a light switch in his brain or something and he was totally back to normal. He kept apologizing saying it felt like a dream that he couldn't remember much of. He was literally mind-blown you could tell by the way he looked. He took a nap and told us the rest of the story which happened while I was at work.
He looked at a painting on the wall of our friend and thought it was Jesus, and at the time he thought that meant the end of the world I guess. So he casually got naked. One of our friends showed up before I got home that night and apparently, he tried to make some sexual advances on him. To the point where he had to put him in a sleeper hold... no one is mad or anything we actually look back and laugh at the whole thing. He learned to tread lightly on the mushrooms after that.

Hey guys! I have a 1998 chevy 3500 bluebird microbus (4-window) that's getting some work done to it but I wanted to know if anyone else has had similar work done to their bus and how much it cost you? The mechanic said he'll reach out to me in a few days to let me know the cost of the parts & his labor but I want to get an idea from you all on how much I should expect to spend.
The following will be done by the mechanic: -Fix rear axle seal leak
-replace fuel pump & "drop" fuel pan
-replace one of the wires for the bus hazard lights

• install exterior lock on bifold bus door ( I purchased the lock myself, he will just install it)

I'm expecting that with the parts and labor it should come close to 1k but what do you all think?

I have been shopping for a new truck on a fairly cheap budget as car loans are quite high right now so want to pay cash and need a new vehicle due to rust :(. There's one at a local dealer that is a 2010 with the 5.3 and 190k miles on it for 10k. I'm a bit skeptical on the mileage but that seems to be the going rate these days at least within a few hundred miles of me in new york. I havnt looked at it yet to check for rust or anything, I don't know much about that year and motor so just wanted to get thoughts on it being a good or bad idea. Body does not look rusted at all, still need to look underneath.

I am new to this and wanting to get started as cheap as I can to see if it is worth getting into. I have a small chest freezer that I am not using. Thinking about using a cheap wireless temperature controller as I seen in a video. Maybe a pc fan running the wires out the door and attempting to seal up better if necessary. Wireless humidity monitor and maybe some pans of water inside. From what I have read the humidity won’t mess up the meat just alter the taste. My concern is really the freezer. I don’t want to mess it up with it cutting the power on and off so often and not sure how good the temperature controller would work. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

On the review aggregation website Metacritic, Redfall has earned a paltry 54 out of 100, ranking it among the year’s worst-reviewed games.
“It seems there is an issue with every element,” reviewer Tauriq Moosa wrote. “In the end, Redfall feels unpolished, underdone, underwhelming, and uncomfortable.”
Joost van Dreunen, a video-game analyst and professor, said Redfall’s failure highlights the significant gap between Microsoft’s lofty aspirations and its actual products, which also calls “into question Microsoft’s ability to establish long-term franchises on its own strength, rather than buying them outright.”
But to the makers of Redfall, the mediocre reception was no big surprise. The project suffered from unclear direction, frequent attrition and a perennial lack of staff, according to more than a dozen people who worked on the game, speaking anonymously because they were not authorized to discuss it publicly. A spokesperson for Redfall’s publisher, Bethesda Softworks, declined to comment.
Development of Redfall began in 2018. At the time, ZeniMax — the large, privately held owner of Bethesda Softworks — was looking to sell itself. Behind the scenes, the company was encouraging its studios to develop games that could generate revenue beyond the initial sales, a popular trend dubbed “games as a service,” which was taking off in the late 2010s thanks to lucrative hits like Overwatch and Fortnite.
According to people familiar with the process, ZeniMax was strongly urging developers at its subsidiaries to implement microtransactions — that is, recurring opportunities within games for players to spend real money, say, outfitting their characters. Although this wasn’t an absolute mandate, several ZeniMax franchises such as Fallout, Doom and Wolfenstein would soon release new versions incorporating online multiplayer and monetization options.
At Arkane’s headquarters in Austin, Harvey Smith and Ricardo Bare, respected industry veterans, were tapped to serve as co-directors of Redfall. Following the commercially unsuccessful release of its sci-fi shooter Prey a year earlier, leadership across the company wanted to make something more broadly appealing. What eventually emerged was the idea to make a multiplayer game in which users would team up to battle vampires and perhaps pay for occasional cosmetic upgrades.
