Sorry for the rather “clickbaity” title I’m desperate for advice right now.
Monday night my parents invited their friends over and had an orgy. They were not quiet about it and I had a panic attack because of them, I was so disgusted and angry. I purposely made loud noises, jumping up and down (we live in a 2 story house) more than 10 times. I know they could hear it because I’ve gotten complaints in the past about being up late & being heard by walking in my room. But it continued. I put on headphones and ignored it till they left. (Around 11pm this happened)
I got drunk that night because of how upset I was. I avoided them the whole morning after and was not checked on once, apologized to nothing.
Tuesday night I could hear it again moaning and my mom masturbating (12 am) when I was in the kitchen making food. I was NOT quiet and their room is right next to the kitchen so there is no way they did not know. I drank again that night.
Wednesday she was supposed to take me to the dentist but she did not she didn’t wake me up for talk to me at all.
And now I’ve avoided them for four days, again not checked on once, apologized to nothing. My mom will usually send a message asking “if I’m dead” if I don’t come out of my room. Or she’ll send a message saying she got me food but nothing nothing at all. I feel absolutely disgusting thinking about them and I do not want to confront them in fear it will lead to another panic attack or worse conflict.
Them doing this has made me realize just how little they care and think that if they do the bare minimum ex: proving me with necessities and not beating me that Im perfectly fine.
And it’s not just people it’s animals too we’ve had a dog that recently passed (2022) because her whole life they’ve never brushed her teeth, leading to rotting. Only fed dry dog food / human scraps. Never taken her to the vet the only time they did was for her to be put down, & did not brush her hair leading to matting and constantly just shaving it off. They claimed she was a “wild dog / a free dog” she was not. The night before she was going to be put down they went to a party I got drunk that night aswell. I was crying that whole night and I couldn’t even go to see her get put down I couldn’t cry that morning either all the tears were gone I still feel guilty for that.
We had two Guinea pigs (only one now) the sister passing while I was away forced to stay at their friends house because yes again they had a party. While yes she could’ve died from young age I have a grudge and believe it was their fault possibly scaring her into death (loud music).
And now our bearded dragon died last week and I was not told about it AT ALL. I knew he was slowly dying but they did not bother to show me him before they did whatever with him. (I don’t know if they put him down or just dug a grave and buried him.)
They did not take either of these pets to the doctor when they were sick or showing signs. (They took the dog only because she had a large lump on her stomach.)
When I asked to take my Guinea pig who is still alive I was told I was being dramatic and she’s fine. (This was around 2022 she was depressed her sister died and was not drinking water.)
I was taken out of school in 2021 I was in 8th grade I believe and I have not been put back in school since, they’ve promised to do it when I turned 16 but I am 16 currently (turned in February) and I have heard NOTHING about it.
They’ve promised to let me see a therapist (around 2021-2022) and have done NOTHING about it.
I ask for medication and my mom gives me “herbal remedies” which maybe that works for some people but I’d rather eat fucking chemicals.
I am very certain I have ptsd and my brain physically blocks out memories (from other trauma) but mostly from them & it makes me so mad because I know that I will forget this even happened in a couple weeks (if there isn’t any major conflict ig).

I live in the UK and I have a male phidippus regius that lives on my art desk. A few days ago a tiny jumping spider (he fits on my short index fingernail and has boxing gloves on so I'm assuming an adult, i think he's a salticus scenicos or zebra jumping spider) made its way to my desk. He seemed to be fairly comfortable so I offered my hand and he climbed up on it and seemed quite happy just running and jumping on my hand.
Anyways, I put him back to where he came from (I didn't want to accidentally hurt him). He made his way back to me. I tried it again. He made his way back to me, again. Ok so he plays on my hand a bit then decides he's going to sleep under my desk. He's been hanging around me, jumping on my hands and even grooming himself on me ever since. I tried giving him some sugar water as he looked starving. He LOVED it! But now he's decided that my desk is his home and I'm his exercise machine.
I can't believe a wild spider could be so comfortable with me. Having a friendship with a wild spider is one of the coolest things that has ever happened to me. And before I had one as a pet, I would have been terrified of it. Instead I get this amazing experience. I love these little guys.

I recently adopted a bonded pair of 2 year olds. They’ve settled in well, except the female wants to play allll night.
The moment I turn off my bedroom light it starts. If she’s downstairs she will start howling like she’s in heat(she’s spayed) then find a toy and bring it upstairs and meow at me through the toy in her mouth. If I don’t play she resolves to cartwheeling around my room with the toys and picking fights with her brother who otherwise is lying on my bed snoozing. It jolts me out of falling asleep. Even if I do give in and play, she never wants to stop.
If I close the door, she plays the “push-toy-under-door” game which leads to more meowing when it gets stuck on my side.
The option I’ve taken for now is hide all of her toys, close my door, and turn on my air filter which masks some of it. I just wonder what else I can do to calm her down at night. I share a wall with neighbors so I worry about getting a complaint, not to mention how my own sleep is affected.
I give them a little wet food before I head to bed, and leave out kibble for them as well. I play with them every day before and after I get home from work. I try to wear them out playing before I get ready for bed, but it’s never enough for her.
Does anyone have any advice or success stories? I’m at my wits end. Has anyone had good experience with pet melatonin?

I havent been at pigeon for what seems like forever! Been building a large aviary for my pet flock of beautiful palomas and the good news is its finally getting close to done. STarting to think about how to transport them to their new home at our new property. I have dozens, lets just say that. A mix of some I rescued a year ago from psychotic neighbors and their offspring, I call them gen 1 & 2, respectively.
Gen 1 went thru a traumatic transition period then and is settled in now, so I know they can adjust but still want it to be as easy on them as it can be. A few pairs tho are still a little nervous, tho they trust us. Gen 2 has never seen anything but here and is pretty spunky group, sweet and fun and I think they will adjust easiest.
Distance is 1 hour car ride, traveling by suv.
Any ideas on good ways to keep them calm? Planning on keeping pairs with chicks in their boxes together. Pretty sure all have feggs only right now. Anyone do this before for an entire flock and any tips that worked great? I may not reply right away bc this project is so much work and I just want to be done so eating sleeping breathing it but please, iff you have any good ideas, successful stories on loft/aviary relocating, share them please

I don't know if I want or even deserve a puppy anymore. I have a 4 m/o sighthound I've had since he was 12 weeks.
We've worked extremely hard on crate training, and when I'm in the house - even if I'm out of sight - he is totally fine. He sleeps like a baby.
But when I leave the house, it's like a switch flips. I know he's just anxious, and he's just a baby, but it's so hard to take. He'll be fine for about an hour or so (I usually won't go for more than 1 1/2, NEVER more than or up to 3 hours at a time. This is a once or twice a week thing, it's not like I'm leaving him daily. We gradually worked up to this.), I've recorded him before, but will then go into a barking fit that won't stop until I'm back. I know it's not because he has to pee because he's able to hold it for longer than that even when loose in the house now and does a great job at it.
What makes it hard is he won't do it every time. It gets my hopes up. I am never happier than when I come back from grocery shopping to him sleeping. But about 50% of the time, I come back to furious barking.
I have neighbors above me and to one side of me, and the thought of getting a noise complaint or making them unhappy is giving me severe anxiety. I just don't go out anymore. It makes him happier and it means I don't have to be anxious about the neighbors. But I'm sure you can imagine (or know from experience.... lol) never being able to leave the house is exhausting. I want to be able to go grab groceries or say hi to my parents without being afraid that he's losing his mind with me gone.
The breaking point for me was last night. I wanted to go to the movies and have a break for a little bit, it's something I'd been looking forward to for a long while. He had been at daycare for 10 hours beforehand and played HARD, and we spent some time with the flirt pole at home afterwards, so I thought he'd be tired out and take a nap. I gave him a frozen raw bone to keep him occupied until he decided to sleep and was back in about 2 1/2 hours (10 minute drive each way, 2 hour movie with no trailers). I came back to barking that I could hear from outside my front door. Not knowing how long it was going on has made me feel just about terrified, and beyond guilty. I don't want to torture the poor thing, and don't want to torture my neighbors either. But I want to have a bit of a life at least once a month. I know I'll probably never leave for that long again, for as long as I have this dog, lol. I learned my lesson.
I don't know if I'm asking too much of him, and again I know that he's a baby. I might've pushed things too much by being gone for that long and for that I feel terrible. But he's done great with crate training otherwise and I felt certain that he'd be tired enough to let me have some time away.
I can't spend every single hour of my life either shut in at home or with the dog at daycare... will things ever get better? Am I a shitty owner? Am I selfish for this? Should I just get a cat? I love him SO much and he's perfect aside from the crate barking, so this is just beyond hard on me.

Action cam, Mobile phone, and screen recordings can be difficult to edit, due to h264/5 material (especially 1080p60 or 4k) and Variable Frame rate. Footage types like 1080p60, 4k (any frame rate) are going to stress your system. When your system struggles, the way that the professional industry has handled this for decades is to use Proxies. How to make your older hardware work? Use proxies Proxies are a copy of your media in a lower resolution and possibly a "friendlier" codec. It is important to know if your software has this capability. A proxy workflow more than any other feature, is what makes editing high frame rate, 4k oand h264/5 footage possible. If your source was a screen recording or mobile phone, it's likely that it has a variable frame rate. In other words, it changes the amount of frames per second, frequently, which editorial system don't like. Wiki on Variable Frame Rate

What's most important is % of sRGB (rec 709) coverage. LED < IPS < OLEDs. Sync means less than size/resolution. Generally 32" @ UHD is about arm's length away.
And the color coverage has more to do with Can I see all the colors, not Is it color accurate. Accurate requires a probe (for video) alongside a way to load that into the monitor (not the OS.)

We have a decent amount of codes and for certain products. With that being said, we want to streamline a bit so we are consolidating most of codes so we're not constantly adding/deleting new ones and you guys getting lost in the sauce. Merch
The first batch of merch is on its way. We should be getting the shirts in sometime this week or early next week. You guys can have whatever color of shirt and logo you want as long as its black and red :) We have dad/operator hats on the near horizon as well but we had to go back to our artist to make some formatting changes so the hats wouldn't look like shit. Stay tuned for the hats and some more merch in the future :)

Orders over $500 will come with a free shirt. A size large will be put into your cart automatically, so just put your shirt size in the order comments if another size is needed :)

LMT
We still have some Shovelnose's on hand and ready for new homes. We're constantly looking to add more products from LMT. Let us know what you want us to try to get or join the in stock notifications so we know what to look out for. We were told by LMT that they may be taking on new dealers directly in the near future so that means we'll get access to all LMT products (except FFL) with more of a timeframe of when they'll get to us.
Daniel Defense
We've been able to get our hands on more difficult DD stuff recently and just got in a fewRIS III 12.5" Black handguards and RIS III 13.5" FSP FDE handguards. We're still trying to get more RIS III uppers in each configuration/color but no word of when just yet. We only get a few allocated. Fingers crossed for soon^TM.
Radian
We're getting in a smoll batch of Ramjet + Afterburners in for the Glock 19 GEN 5 on Friday so act quick if you're looking for one. They will be going live at 12:00 PM CST. We don't know when they'll be back in stock sadly. We reached out to Radian directly to get their products from them and as soon as we were going to put in an order, they halted all orders to Illinois for the time being :/ So, we're just waiting and hopefully they'll lift that soon.
Surefire
We've been getting a lot of questions in regards of when the 3 and 4 prongs will make a comeback. Surefire told us to expect 2-3 months from now. Again, nothing set in stone but we're trying our best to get as many as we can. We have some X300T-As left, and could pull in some M640DFT Blacks in. Code TORCH. Those muzzle brakes we had went pretty fast, so we'll keep an eye out for more. We do have a few WARCOMPS left.
Criterion
One. Month. Closer. We're still waiting for our first batch from Criterion but here's a little refresher of the timeline. Again, if there's another length wanted, let us know so we can look into it.

AXL
We just got the Eclipse as our first belt from AXL and still setting it up. It seems like a great belt especially for the price point. We'll post a picture of our setup as soon as it's finished (be nice, this is our first real belt setup). We reached out about becoming a dealer for them and they are open to it and they're a bunch of solid dudes. Now, we're asking you guys to let us know if you'd be interested in us holding AXL. If so, we'll get the ball rolling with our first order of belts and maybe some other products they have to offer. So please let us know!

Question for nursing home malpractice practitioners: aside from general estate work and litigation, how did you get started in this line of work, where are the best places to network, and how many cases are you able to settle/resolve a year? What are some pitfalls you've encountered or seen others encounter? (I realize malpractice premiums are likely to be higher in this line of work as it probably goes hand in hand with estate planning.)
I'm a judicial law clerk but practiced several years before working for the court. This isn't long term, just wanted to pump the brakes a little and get some experience with the Judge. Looking ahead to open up my own shop and this area of law is interesting to me. I'm in an area where there aren't many lawyers, and the ones here are either retiring or brand new, so I am going to have a leg up on my competition just from having practiced already. Primary background is property/business litigation and family law.
I'd appreciate your insights.

Are Heist Replay Glitches patched?

No, and they probably won't be any time soon; if ever.
Heist replay glitch is still working in the enhanced version.
Please note that timings might be more difficult than in the past.

How do I do X Heist Replay?

Tips on how to avoid heist reset on consoles.

Take a break after 2 consecutive attempts
Try clearing your cache after 2 consecutive attempts
Try disconnecting after the white transaction loading circle and before the orange loading circle
Try disconnecting after the "Transaction Pending" disappears at the bottom of the screen

Can you get banned from doing X Glitch?

Outside of the few admonished outliers such as the strain of Apartment Glitches, you WON'T GET BANNED for doing any glitches. This includes things such as Heist Replays, AFK's, Merges, Dupes (creating/owning/selling Dupes) and etcetera.

Any good RP glitches around?

This is a new type job, TeamLilac AFK, and should be similar to Peter Griffin AFK. Please feel free to leave feedback on this job since its new

Best money glitch out right now?

Heist Replays (Bogdan/Cayo Perico), GCTF Dupes and/or Semi-Frozen Money (solo) will always remain as time proven choices. Alongside whatever Dupe Glitch is currently available/working.

I haven’t even flirted with anyone for such a long time that I thought this could be fun. I’d have loved to say that the idea of doing this came to me during a dream, but I haven’t dreamt in a long time.
I am a 21 years old male from a big city in Brazil. I am going to university for a social sciences degree, and I have done pretty well so far. Besides all that, I write poetry on the side, and I work for a small online newspaper.
I am fascinated fairly often by many things and I have many hobbies so you won’t be bored. Last month I became fascinated by Spanish modern history after reading Preston’s biography of Francisco Franco and I was reading about the Miracle on the Han River yesterday, while my family gave a lunch party and I had to keep myself entertained while they discussed the tragedy of a heiress’ dog many illnesses, which were mysteriously shared with his owner, and some reforms in the Vatican Bank. But yes, in general, I really enjoy the humanities. I follow politics keenly – in fact, there is some chance I might have some thoughts on your country’s politics – and I’d say I am on the centre-left – pro-choice, in favour of a robust welfare state, LGBTQ+ rights, affirmative action. If you know about Brazilian politics, I voted for Marina and Haddad in 2018 (the voting age here is 16), and Lula last year.
As you can imagine, I also really enjoy reading and writing. Besides poetry, I have often thought about reading a novel, but this seems like too much work – and it seems that it would be arrogant of me to write a novel having lived this little. I really enjoy learning about other languages and cultures and I know a bit of French, German, Spanish, and Russian, besides English and Portuguese. I am into genealogy and I have helped a few friends with it. I also really enjoy TV shows and cinema, and I am easily brought to tears. I cried during the last Minions movie, even if I didn’t want to be there. I love music and my taste in it has been described as “fairly gay”. I’d have loved to be a musician, but I’d have loved to have been many things.
I guess I am pretty introverted, polite, and timid. I am affectionate and I can be really passionate as well. And I am fairly funny, or rather, I have made a few people laugh over the years. I asked a close friend to describe myself, and that is what he said:

I think you’re very communicative. Shrewd, funny, a good companion. Kind of withdrawn but not necessarily shy. You avoid conflict and unnecessary arguments, but love to participate in good conversations. I think you’re very kind too, besides being polite.

As for what I want to do with my life, I am unsure though I am inclined to go into academia. I have been considering applying to a PhD program in the U.S. after finishing my undergrad here in Brazil. My family does want me to go into their business, which is related to politics. I have also considered going into diplomacy.
Who am I looking for? I’d look like someone curious about the world around her, and open-minded.

[32F] Been congested since mid April, history of asthma since I was little (taking Symbicort 160/4.5 2 puffs twice a day, Montelukast 10mg at night), allergies sincey early 20s (Cetirizine 10mg in the morning, nasal rinses morning and night, Dymista 2 sprays on each nostril both morning and night).
I also take Yasmin, Iron and vitamin C (was found to have an iron deficiency a few months ago and haven't done the blood work to follow up so I keep taking it here and there).
I initially thought it was allergies, took all precautions as usual, then my clear mucus changed to darker yellow, started taking flu medication (Nyquil, Guafenesin, etc), messed up my stomach so I stopped like 10 days ago, now my mucus is clear again (although I had some yellow-ish this morning) just taking Sudafed, pseudoephedrine and per my pulmonologist suggestion also Zyrtec D, none of these things are working, specially at night when the congestion is worst, I can't taste much when I'm this congested, nor smell much (took a few COVID tests and they're all negative), my left ear is constantly clogged. My pulmonologist said he will contact my allergist to let them know and I contacted them as well, but an appointment hasn't been set up yet, I'm also in a waiting list.
I also take allergy shots every week (I'm allergic to Oak, Dust, Dust Mites Cats and Dogs, we clean regularly and don't have any pets in the house) but haven't since May 3rd, due to the congestion, last time (this past Friday) they sent me home and explained how I can go into shock and then need epinephrine and that will restart my whole process.
I don't know what to do at this point, I took Afrin as a friend suggested but that does nothing, been having my humidifiers on since Winter time and have been avoiding strong smells.
Idk if I missed anything, I'm desperate at this point...
EDIT: 5'9 and around 175/180 pounds. Also, should I make an appointment with my PCP, my Allergist or an ENT, not sure where to go

So I happened to watch GB update #4, which is mostly about conventions. They splice together a bunch of old clips and there I am. This feels incredibly intrusive considering I’m no longer a witness and the reason I left is because the love they are trying to claim they have is utterly false.
Besides all that, I haven’t spoken to my parents since I faded some years ago. I’m sure they will see me in the montage and it will bring up all kinds of painful feelings. I didn’t want that for them.
Since they are using my image to promote a false narrative I think it’s necessary to set the record straight regarding my international convention experience.
I was in my early twenties and had done quite a bit of traveling but this convention was about as far away as a person could go so I thought it was a good opportunity to go to a place hard to get to. I had thought since it was being arranged through a witness travel agency and there were a lot of Americans traveling that they would have gotten some good deals. They didn’t; it was incredibly expensive and they wouldn’t let you make your own cheaper arrangements. Later I came to realize that it was all most likely a grift, it never should have been that expensive.
There wasn’t a lot of love but there was a lot of weird. I was traveling single so I was put together with another single guy who happened to be the bus captain’s son. The son was about 16 and was super creepy. He never said a word to me even though we shared a hotel room for a week, he just watched sports on tv. The kid didn’t like getting up in the morning so he would go to bed in his dress clothes and then get up at the last minute. His dad later excused his son by saying he was super constipated. Yeah, his dad, the bus captain, was even weirder. He had crazy interpretations of the directions from the branch, so he made us wear dress clothes everywhere we went. If you weren’t dressed properly you couldn’t get on the bus. No matter what. Imagine how ridiculous you would look being at the Grand Canyon hiking in a suit and tie in 100 degree weather. Regular people looked at us like we were insane, a fair deduction I guess. Speaking of insane……….as I mentioned previously, I had traveled a bunch and I liked to travel light. I had one small bag and I was young so I immediately was given pack-mule duty for an older sister who had three large duffel bags. I didn’t mind helping out an older sister so I grabbed two of her bags and nearly broke my back. I asked her what she had in the bags that would make them so heavy? Water. She had packed all the water she was going to drink for two weeks because she was afraid of foreign water. And now I was going to carry two weeks worth of water. Once during the trip I was standing behind her at a gift shop. She was trying to buy some things but her credit card wouldn’t work. Finally she told the cashier it was probably because she keeps her credit cards in her shoes next to the magnets in her shoes, which might have demagnetized all the strips. I love weird and different people, but most of the people I was traveling with were just problematic for everyone around them.
All of the things you see in the videos about international conventions are manufactured experiences. They don’t show you people fighting on the bus, getting drunk in the hotel bars, treating the servers at restaurants and flight attendants on airplanes like garbage, the constant complaining. Since the trip was expensive, many of the witnesses on the trip were relatively wealthy. I was poor. I was shocked at how terribly fellow witnesses would treat the workers at the hotels, restaurants, and airports and then justify it by how much they had paid for the trip.
I was completely disillusioned by the experience, although it still took me quite a few more years to walk away.
I’m not going to tell you the exact place in the video that I’m talking about but the behind the scenes story of what was really going on is hilarious and perhaps illustrative of everything watchtower. So imagine the cutest little JW kid in their dress clothes eating lunch with their mom outside. It’s a grassy, shady area so there’s lots of witnesses relaxing and eating. While the watchtower videographer is getting his closeup, just off to the side a bunch of kids are playing, all of the sudden one of the kids stops and pulls down his pants and takes a huge dump in front of all of us. A thousand flies seemed to appear instantly for the poo meal and we all wonder what was the history of the grass beneath us and the food we were eating. True story, that’s the real scene. And that sums up everything watchtower when you look just beyond the frame.
